Job Summary:
Executes basic to moderately complex demolition tasks to support safe and efficient project completion. Applies fully functioning technical knowledge and hands-on expertise to dismantle structures completely. Collaborates with crew members to safely remove complete structures, clear debris, and follow safety procedures, making sure each phase of the demolition project is completed on schedule. Adjusts to changing site conditions, such as unexpected structural issues or debris, and works with the crew to find safe and effective solutions during demolition tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Performs standard and non-standard demolition activities independently using hand and power tools, ensuring precision and safety.
Removes debris and hazardous materials from job sites completely, following established procedures.
Assists in setting up and securing work areas to prevent common accidents and property damage.
Communicates with crew members to coordinate the safe removal of materials, operate standard equipment efficiently, and quickly address any routine and semi-routine issues that arise during demolition work.
Checks standard demolition tools and heavy equipment before each shift to make sure they are safe and ready for use.
Adjusts standard and non-standard demolition techniques when encountering hidden hazards, unstable structures, or unexpected debris to keep the crew safe and the project on track.

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
Completion of an accredited laborers apprenticeship program or 2 - 4 years of experience in demolition, construction, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
