Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Unit Clerk position is to be responsible for the management of clerical tasks and activities and coordination of unit/service area communication and information. This role supports the care teams, provides communication between departments and maintains an organized, functional desk/station.
The competent functioning of the Unit Clerk is evident by meticulously maintained patient charts. Clear, respectful and efficient communication with patient/families, physicians, departments and unit staff, as well as a neat, organized station/desk.
Qualifications
