Bright Labs, proudly a part of Ankura, is at the forefront of the eDiscovery industry, having contributed to some of the most significant and globally recognized eDiscovery investigations and litigations. Our eDiscovery team is renowned for its deep expertise and innovative approach, leveraging data, technology, and analytical thought to address complex client issues. We pride ourselves on a unique combination of technical skills, subject-matter expertise, and litigation technology experience, enabling us to deliver comprehensive, creative, and insightful solutions that guide our clients through the intricacies of eDiscovery challenges.

Role Overview:

Ankura's Legal Technology & Data Analytics (LTDA) team seeks to hire summer interns to work in their e-discovery, data processing and forensics practice, focusing on projects related to investigations and litigation matters.  We are seeking candidates in our key geographic areas including Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC and New York. Ankura’s Discovery team combines the people, process, technologies, and advice needed to reduce eDiscovery costs and enhance case strategy throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle. The team helps optimize our clients’ litigation profiles and more effectively collect, manage, and analyze significant amounts of unstructured and structured data. The team helps clients transform immense datasets into actionable intelligence with the latest advances in data science, predictive analytics, and machine learning. Together with Ankura’s Ph.D. experts in machine learning, the eDiscovery team has created some of the most innovative predictive analytics technologies currently in use. Interns will work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment on engagements often related to commercial and regulatory related disputes and investigations. The internship program is focused on providing interns with the opportunity to learn about Ankura and the industry, learn and utilize new skills, and develop relationships. Interns will have the opportunity to learn, use, or gain exposure to a variety of technologies and programming languages, including Relativity, predictive coding applications, and SQL.

Please note that this role requires permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (i.e. U.S. citizen or permanent resident). Internships and full-time University Associate roles are not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship, work visa or any other temporary work authorization (i.e. OPT, CPT).  

Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current payrate for this internship is: $34/hr.
