US Bookkeeper (Part-time)

We are a well-established real estate company seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and administrative accounting tasks. This position is well suited for a professional who prefers a consistent, part-time schedule and enjoys being the primary person responsible for the accuracy of our books. We value reliability and thorough follow-through, and we are looking for a capable professional who will be a key support to our small, active team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the payroll cycle using Paychex Flex, including entering hours, reviewing reports, and addressing routine questions.
- Oversee vendor invoices, payment approvals, internal invoices, and posting payments.
- Perform entries and reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop to maintain accurate files and generate Profit and Loss statements.
- Reconcile company checkbooks and credit card purchases to ensure all records are current.
- Complete month-end closing tasks, including report preparation and documentation organization.
- Keep organized electronic and paper records for all financial activity while following internal controls.
- Research and resolve transaction discrepancies by coordinating with our team and external vendors.
- Collaborate closely with the accountant to provide all necessary financial statements and documentation for tax preparations.
Requirements
- Significant prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel) and payroll platforms (Paychex Flex preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on thorough follow-through.
- Ability to handle confidential financial and payroll data with absolute discretion.
- A dependable, consistent work style with the ability to manage deadlines independently.

Co-Working days
MySigrid has a co-working office in Ortigas, Pasig where the whole team meets once a month at a minimum.
