Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Reviewing tax returns for multiple business types, including partnerships (Form 1065), C- corporations (Form 1120), and S-corporations (Form 1120-S).
  • Reviewing international tax forms and their applicability (Form 926, Form 5471, Form 5472, etc)
  • Supervise engagements and assume full responsibility for tax compliance engagements.
  • Participating as an integral member of client engagements teams from the beginning to end - including planning, executing, and completing tax projects.
  • Develop, coordinate, and supervise projects of tax staff and senior.
  • Performing tax research and preparing a technical memorandum
  • Analyzing ideas and strategies to deliver tax savings opportunities to clients
  • Build and maintain client relationships and proactively interact to gather information, resolve tax-related issues, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
  • Demonstrated experience with people management is integral to this role, including coaching and developing team members, resolving conflicts, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and high performance.
  • Strong technical skills specifically with public accounting with a focus in taxes for real estate companies, private equity companies, partnerships, corporations, and/or LLCs

The qualifications

• 6+ years of recent experience in public accounting

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• CA and/or CPA is a must.
