Role summary:
The (USA) Director, Insights Consulting leads the development and delivery of complex consulting projects that support multiple business areas. This role provides strategic guidance by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, advising senior leadership, and driving actionable insights to inform decision-making. The Director collaborates across functions to ensure alignment on research methodologies and data strategies while overseeing a team to achieve business goals. This position demands strong leadership, advanced analytical expertise, and the ability to influence executive stakeholders through thoughtful, data-driven recommendations.

The CIS Omni team focuses on delivering customer-centered solutions that utilize Walmart’s extensive capabilities to support the mission of helping customers save money and live better. The team’s work spans eCommerce, store experience, Walmart+ membership, customer feedback, and innovation in features and market opportunities. Balancing immediate results with future growth, the team values agility, strong communication, and insightful storytelling to influence executive decisions. Members collaborate across functions to develop strategic recommendations, leveraging skills in business strategy, data analysis, and leadership to drive impactful outcomes aligned with business goals.
What you'll do:

• Lead development and delivery of complex consulting projects supporting multiple business areas.
• Provide strategic recommendations by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.
• Act as subject matter expert to senior leadership, advising on customer insights and business strategies.
• Define research methodologies and oversee data analysis to address critical business questions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on research strategies and actionable insights.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering continuous learning and development.
• Drive process improvements and innovation in research and data analytics approaches.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience leading complex consulting projects with a focus on business strategy and customer insights.
• Proven ability to develop and implement research methodologies and data analysis approaches for actionable business recommendations.
• Strong leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams aligned with organizational goals.
• Expertise in collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to drive strategic alignment and business outcomes.
• Proficiency in quantitative and primary research, market research, and process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate insights and influence executive decision-making.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 5 years' experience in marketing research, data analytics, consulting, or related field OR 7 years' experience in marketing research, data analytics, consulting, or related field.
4 years' supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
