Value Consultant (m/f/d)

Our client is looking for a Value Consultant to support enterprise customers in understanding and quantifying the business value of technology solutions. In this role, you will develop business cases, ROI models, and value propositions while supporting enterprise sales teams throughout the sales cycle. Working closely with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, and Product Specialists, you will help demonstrate measurable business impact and support customers in making informed investment decisions.

The ideal candidate has a background in consulting or professional services, strong analytical skills, and enjoys supporting enterprise sales teams by developing business cases and value-driven recommendations.

Location: Germany (Remote within Germany, with hybrid options available)
Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)
Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling business cases that demonstrate the business impact and value of technology solutions.

• Create ROI, TCO, and financial models to quantify customer benefits and support investment decisions.

• Support Account Executives and sales teams by preparing business cases, value assessments, and customer presentations throughout the sales cycle.

• Collaborate with Solution Consultants and Product Specialists to develop customer value propositions.

• Build executive-level presentations that clearly communicate business value and expected outcomes.

• Analyze customer data, market insights, and external research to generate actionable insights.

• Translate complex business challenges into clear, value-based recommendations aligned with customer objectives.

• Quickly understand customer business challenges, industries, and technology concepts.

Required Qualifications:

• Background in management consulting, professional services, or a comparable consulting environment.

• Experience developing business cases, financial models, and value-based recommendations.

• Experience with ROI analysis, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and value measurement methodologies.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modelling and advanced Excel capabilities.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working with senior business stakeholders and executive audiences.

• Ability to translate complex business challenges into clear business recommendations.

• High level of intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, cloud solutions, digital transformation, or technology consulting.

• Background in value consulting, value engineering, solution consulting, business transformation, or pre-sales consulting.

• Experience supporting enterprise sales teams or pre-sales engagements is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) required.

• Master's degree (MA/MSc) preferred.
