HR Vendor Assessment Analyst (Fixed Term – 6 Months)
The second title clearly signals that the primary purpose is evaluating the HR vendor landscape and making recommendations.

In addition to supporting vendor operations and performance management, this role will lead a comprehensive assessment of the organization's HR vendor ecosystem. The analyst will evaluate vendor capabilities, service delivery, contractual value, utilization, costs, risks, and business outcomes across multiple HR service areas. The individual will develop recommendations regarding vendor optimization, consolidation, expansion, or elimination to improve operational effectiveness, employee experience, and cost efficiency.

HR Vendor Assessment & Optimization
- Conduct a comprehensive review of all HR and People Services vendors across the employee lifecycle.
- Assess vendor performance, service quality, utilization, cost effectiveness, scalability, and strategic value.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities against current and future business requirements.
- Partner with HR, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Benchmark vendor offerings, service models, and capabilities against industry practices.
- Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, rationalization, renegotiation, or replacement.
- Develop business cases supporting recommendations to retain, expand, reduce, or eliminate vendor partnerships.
- Analyze vendor spend, contract terms, utilization rates, performance metrics, and return on investment.
- Create executive-ready presentations and recommendations for senior leadership decision-making.
- Support development of a future-state HR vendor strategy and roadmap.

The successful candidate will:
- Complete a comprehensive assessment of the HR vendor portfolio within the first six months.
- Deliver executive recommendations for vendor retention, consolidation, optimization, or elimination.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and enhanced service quality.
- Establish a vendor scorecard framework to support ongoing governance and performance monitoring.
- Support development of a multi-year HR vendor strategy aligned with business objectives.
Preferred Experience
- Experience conducting vendor assessments, RFPs, vendor selections, or supplier rationalization initiatives.
- Background in HR Operations, Shared Services, Procurement, Consulting, or Business Transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to build business cases and executive-level recommendations.
- Experience performing cost-benefit analysis and vendor ROI assessments.
