The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our network engineering team. In this role, you'll be designing, implementing, and maintaining Versa Networks SD-WAN solutions. This will ensure secure, reliable, and optimized network connectivity across our distributed enterprise environment.

You Have: 

• Experience with WAN optimization, application performance monitoring, and network security
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, QoS, and firewall policies
• Knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid cloud architectures, and integration with public cloud providers
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with Versa Networks SD-WAN platforms in enterprise or large-scale environments
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for network configuration such as Python and Ansible
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios
• Knowledge of other SD WAN platforms
• Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
