Located in Genoa, Illinois, Genoa Animal Hospital is a full-service small-animal practice that has been serving the community for more than 30 years. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including wellness and preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnostics and imaging, surgery, urgent and emergency care, and laser therapy. With a focus on compassionate care, technical expertise, and individualized attention, the team is committed to helping pets live healthier lives while building lasting relationships with the families they serve. We also offer discounts on products and services to our employees.
We are looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with anesthesia, dental cleanings, surgery, and be comfortable with and have an interest in interacting with clients. Schedule is Monday to Friday, no weekends.
Qualifications
At least 3 years experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
