Veterinary ECC Liaison/Assistant

Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) is looking for a full-time Veterinary Liaison/VA to join our Emergency team.

About the Job:  As a Liaison/VA in our Emergency and Critical Care department you will be responsible for:

• Point of contact for communication between clients, doctors and support staff
• Create and review estimates and invoices with clients
• Attend doctor rounds for patient updates
• Obtaining and reporting vitals, if needed
• Recognize changes in patient status and report to doctor
• Counsel owners, prepare medications and discharge patients 
• Assisting support staff, if needed

Shift Information: Full Time - days TBD

About You:

• Minimum of 3 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting required.  Experience in emergency/urgent care a plus.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
• Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
• Provide basic veterinary assistant skills as needed
• Excellent communicator, compassionate, empathetic and detail oriented.

Compensation:  VA:  $23 - $35 hour. 

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials
