Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a new opportunity within a supportive, close-knit team? Our Heaton Chapel practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend.

🐾 About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, friendly team where you’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with both your colleagues and clients.

You’ll enjoy a varied caseload, with a good balance of consultations and surgical work, allowing you to make the most of your clinical skills while continuing to develop your experience.

The role is 40 hours per week across 4 days, 9am - 19:00, with a 1 in 6 weekend rota, giving you a great balance between work and your life outside the practice.

🏥 About Heaton Chapel

Our recently refurbished clinic provides a modern and welcoming environment for both our clients and team. You’ll be joining a small and supportive team made up of:

Branch Partner Veterinary Surgeon
3 Registered Veterinary Nurses
1 Veterinary Care Assistant
1 Client Care Assistant

Being part of a smaller team means you’ll have plenty of support around you, while also having the opportunity to make a real contribution to the practice.

Confident working across both consulting and surgery
Comfortable managing a varied first-opinion caseload
