Kings Trail Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.
We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value experienced technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.
In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit.
Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation

This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.
Schedule and compensation:
- Compensation: $19-22 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a flexible, full-time position with a 4/10 schedule, Monday–Friday, including a one-hour lunch. Availability is also needed every other Saturday, with a kennel shift rotation approximately every five weeks.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
1+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
Proficiency in the following skills:
- Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
- Surgical assistance, aseptic technique, and patient handling/restraint
- Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration
- Radiology positioning, laboratory sample collection, and in-house diagnostics
