  • Leading and assisting with pitch preparation, negotiation of transaction terms, execution and distribution of both event and non-event syndicated loan financing opportunities
  • Proactive application of a range of products including traditional syndicated bank financing, Unitranche and Term Loan B structures in support of complex transactions including acquisition financings, leveraged buy-outs and recapitalisations.
  • Preparing submissions and presenting to internal stakeholders on capital returns, credit and underwriting risk, with ongoing responsibility for management of those exposures including related documentation.
  • Building an effective network of external stakeholders maintaining close frequent contact with key target clients, sponsors and investors.
  • Developing and maintaining an appropriate level of understanding of each relevant client’s business, industry and associated markets.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships across the Corporate and Institutional Bank and relevant product areas including Debt Capital Markets, Global Markets and Infrastructure Finance to identify and action cross selling opportunities.

Joining our Leveraged, Acquisition and Syndicated Finance team in Sydney as a Vice President, you will report to the Head of Leveraged, Acquisition and Syndicated Finance Australia, with the focus of supporting the origination and execution of both event and non-event driven financings in Australia and New Zealand. You will drive and support the business in satisfying growth, revenue and cost targets, with the goal of enhancing client relationships (greater share of wallet) and building effective peer and investor relationships.
