  • Provide first-line risk and compliance advice and support to business lines in Global Markets division with focus on front-office activities including FX, OTC Derivatives and Treasury

  • Identify changes in regulations which may impact Global Markets’ compliance policies and procedures

  • Identify potential risks and propose controls to manage and mitigate risks to provide advisory and support to Global Market business in strengthening first line of defense.

  • Ensure proper documentation and updating of compliance policies and procedures and provide training on new regulations and policies

  • First point of contact for internal, external auditors and regulators relating to the division.

  • Reporting to HO on status of market compliance initiatives

  • Implementation of Head Office rules and controls

  • Coordinate review, identification, assessment and mitigation of business, front operations and regulatory risks (eg RCSA)

  • Manage and review dealing and operations incidents

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree

  • Possesses practical trading or sales experience in foreign exchange and OTC derivatives products/structures

  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in market compliance preferably in coverage of Global Markets activities such as FX, OTC Derivatives, cross-border marketing, licensing, trade reporting and new products assessments

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in the financial sector

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and global financial markets

  • Possesses solid knowledge of market trends and developments

  • Strong working knowledge in both local and international/extra-territorial regulations

  • Ability to manage stakeholders and provide advisory to support departments in Global Markets

  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence others and embed frameworks, processes, and recommendations. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365.
