Video Editor - Beauty & Personal Care - 3+ Years - Faridabad

We are looking for a hands-on Video Editor who can transform organised footage into clear, engaging and platform-ready content. The ideal candidate will have experience in short-form, product, education, campaign or narrative video editing, with strong skills in take selection, pacing, sound, subtitles, aspect-ratio versions and file management. A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating personal post-production contribution is required.

Join a growing beauty and personal-care business with in-house manufacturing and R&D, creating product, education, campaign and performance content across a portfolio of consumer brands.

Responsibilities

1. Ingesting, verifying, backing up and organising footage, sound, scripts, shot notes and project files using consistent folder and naming systems.

2. Reviewing footage, creating selects and building assemblies based on approved scripts, director notes and strongest usable takes.

3. Editing content for story, pace, product visibility, viewer comprehension and platform-appropriate retention.

4. Cleaning and balancing sound while adding approved music, sound elements, subtitles and captions.

5. Coordinating graphics, supers, thumbnails and other visual inputs with clear timing, copy and version notes.

6. Creating approved aspect-ratio variants, completing export checks and preparing delivery packages.

7. Maintaining searchable archives of final files and working projects with clear version control.

8. Reviewing edits for technical quality, subtitle accuracy, continuity and alignment with approved product information.

Requirements

1. Relevant experience in video editing or post-production, preferably across short-form, product, education, campaign or narrative content.

2. Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating personal contribution to professional video editing projects.

3. Strong command of professional editing workflows, timelines, proxies, audio, exports and file organisation.

4. Strong editorial judgment in pacing, take selection, performance, product visibility and continuity.

5. Experience creating accurate subtitles, captions and multiple aspect-ratio versions.

6. Strong understanding of file naming, backup, version control and archive management.

7. Ability to work collaboratively with Video Directors, DOPs/Videographers and Scriptwriters.

8. Relevant qualification in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Animation, Visual Communication or a related field will be preferred.
