What you'll do
- Transform engineering processes using artificial intelligence based in South Korea
- Develop and deploy AI-based tools to optimize design, simulation, and testing in the areas of powertrains, electric motors, battery systems, and thermal management
- Lead technical implementation, market analysis, and budget forecasting activities across all major development sites in South Korea, China, and Mexico

The site of Daegu based in Korea belongs to POWER Division. The site has 6,000 employees. We are looking for a VIE R&D Engineer - AI & Automotive Engineering Tools for 24 months within the team.
Your challenges?
Based in South Korea, you will join our global “Powertrain & Electrification” R&D center to transform engineering processes using artificial intelligence.
You will develop and deploy AI-based tools to optimize design, simulation, and testing in the areas of powertrains, electric motors, battery systems, and thermal management.
You will also lead technical implementation, market analysis, and budget forecasting activities across all of our major development sites in South Korea, China, and Mexico.
Let’s talk about you…
You are graduated from a Master degree in Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or AI/Data Science
You already have experience in AI or Data Science, with a strong interest in automotive engineering and electrification
You have a fluent level of English and ideally you have a good command of Korean
You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
You are proficient in Python and machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn)
You have knowledge of CAD/CAE simulation tools for the automotive industry (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys, GT-SUITE, or Amesim) and automated testing environments
You will have a solid understanding of electric powertrains, battery thermal dynamics, and transmission systems
