The Role

As VP of Engineering, you will own and scale Delphi’s engineering organization as we move into our next phase of exponential growth. You’ll set the technical vision, build high-performance teams, and partner closely with product, design, and leadership to to support the next phase of Delphi.

This is a role for someone who wants to help shape the future of human connection, scale wisdom for billions, and build something that will outlast us all.

What You’ll Do

• Define and execute on the technical vision and architecture for systems serving millions of digital minds.

• Build and lead the engineering organization to a standard of excellence - establish technical precision practices and foster ownership-driven culture where engineers proactively solve problems.

• Drive engineering execution - consistently ship high-quality systems quickly, balancing speed and durability.

• Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and leadership to align strategy and deliver ambitious roadmaps.

• Raise the bar: mentor leaders, establish a world class engineering culture, and ensure Delphi remains a magnet for top talent.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years leading teams of 10+ engineers in a hyper-growth, high-expectation environment.

• A proven track record of building teams and shipping large-scale, high-impact systems.

• Executive communication skills: can translate between technical and non-technical audiences.

• First-principles thinker, comfortable navigating ambiguity and inventing new playbooks.

• Ability to build an ownership-driven engineering culture where teams consistently exceed expectations, beat deadlines, and take complete responsibility for their domains.
