What you'll do
- Communicating with foreman and other workers to determine wallcovering requirements
- Assembling scaffolding as required
- Install wallpaper on various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and columns
- Measure and cut wallpaper to fit the area to be covered
- Prepare surfaces for wallpaper installation by cleaning and smoothing out imperfections
- Apply adhesive to the back of the wallpaper and hang it properly to ensure a seamless finish
- Remove old wallpaper and prepare the surface for new wallpaper installation
- Ensure that the installation area is kept clean and tidy throughout the installation process
- Stay up-to-date on new wallpaper installation techniques and materials
- Covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
