Warehouse Lead

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations, support team performance, and ensure productivity, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent coaching and counseling to team members
• Lead assigned personnel on shift to meet productivity and efficiency targets
• Conduct accuracy and quality audits by verifying product quantity and condition
• Complete assigned tasks and resolve day-to-day operational issues
• Train and cross-train employees across various job functions
• Support all operational requirements as directed by management
• Assist with daily team huddles and participate in weekly leadership meetings
• Oversee and manage day-to-day employee activities
• Document coaching and employee development conversations
• Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and leadership
• Ensure team safety by teaching and enforcing safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of people management experience, preferably in a warehouse setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to hold team members accountable and drive performance
• Willingness to take direction and adapt to operational needs
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
• Organized, dependable, punctual, and hardworking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees in a positive and constructive manner

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for 8–12 hours per shift
• Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching (above and below waist level)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
