Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and equipment.
- Implement and maintain warehouse processes and SOPs.
2. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and sales teams.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
3. Team Leadership
- Supervise warehouse staff including supervisors, pickers, packers, and loaders.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training when required.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and workplace discipline.
4. Logistics & Dispatch
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Work closely with logistics partners and transport vendors.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and warehouse regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and safety procedures.
- Conduct safety training and enforce safe work practices.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare warehouse reports including stock reports, dispatch reports, and productivity metrics.
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
