What you'll do
- Manage all inbound and outbound freight operations to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
- Oversee transportation, carriers, and 3PL partners to optimize cost and service levels.
- Resolve freight issues, shortages, damages, and claims.
- Review and approve or dispute/resolve freight invoices.
- Generate necessary purchase requisitions and purchase order management within MRP systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory to support customer orders and production.
- Ensure proper storage, material handling, and FIFO practices.
- Monitor cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory adjustments.
- Implement best practices to minimize shrink, damage, and obsolete materials.
- Support just-in-time and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained and generated for all outbound shipments including international freight.

Responsibilities
