Tasks:
- Receive shipments, check for damages and sort stock for distribution in the market/warehouse
- Keep record of invoices sent and received
- Fill orders by taking items from the warehouse and prepare them for delivery to chefs
- Keep track record of chefs ingredient requirements and returns
- Monitor shelves and fill them in when needed
- Keep up with the movement of merchandise in the store and warehouse
- Weekly counting of assigned inventory
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
- Ability to operate a pallet jack is helpful but not required
- Experience working in a food production or food handling facility is helpful but not required
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8-hour shifts and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- May occasionally be required to work in refrigerated areas maintained at approximately 35°F
