- Proactively source and develop new client relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families

Alley Company is a registered investment advisory firm located in Lake Forest, Illinois. The firm was founded in 1998 by Steven J. Alley with a clear purpose: to provide clients with understandable, long-term financial planning and investment management that is rooted in quality.
We are seeking a highly motivated Wealth Advisor to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in driving new business growth while also learning and supporting the client servicing side of the business. This person will immediately step into an established client base and work alongside a highly collaborative team in servicing 3 books of existing client relationships.
This is an ideal opportunity for a business development focused advisor who thrives on building relationships, developing referral networks, and generating new client opportunities while gaining exposure to investment management and client service opportunities. You will also work alongside senior wealth advisors and quickly learn the firm’s investment philosophy and high touch service culture.
This position requires you to be on-site 5 days a week. Opportunities for workplace flexibility may be available based on performance, tenure, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development

- Support existing client relationships in an account servicing capacity

- Help deliver a high-touch, white-glove client experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Progress towards CFP and/or CFA, a plus.
- 5+ years of experience serving high-net-worth clients within a wealth management or financial planning environment.
- Proven ability to develop new business and cultivate client relationships
- Strong networking and interpersonal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to grow the practice.
- Passion for wealth management, investments, and relationship management
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a growing team
This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $100,000-$150,000 base salary compensation range. Base salary may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. Incentive compensation can be meaningful based upon success of business development efforts. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
