What you'll do
- Perform corrective, preventative and modification maintenance on all weapons, weapons systems and ancillary equipment assigned for repair

The Weapons and Weapons Systems Repair Technician is responsible for preventative, corrective and modification maintenance to all weapons, weapons systems equipment and ancillary equipment assigned by the Section Supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform corrective, preventative and modification maintenance on all weapons, weapons systems and ancillary equipment assigned for repair;
- Perform weapons incident investigations;
- Perform Examinations of Ordnance;
- Look up and order repair parts;
- Test fire weapons;
- Perform range duties;
- Initiate and assist in the preparation of Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCRs) and Technical Failure Reports (TFRs) and forward to the Control Office;

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Weapons Technician QL5 or higher or equivalent
Must be able to achieve and maintain a Government of Canada Security Clearance- continuous residency in Canada for the last 5 years is a mandatory requirement.*
