FOX Television Stations (FTS) owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations, including stations in 14 of the top 15 markets and duopolies in 11. JOB DESCRIPTION

WFLD is seeking an experienced, dependable Per Diem Weather Meteorologist to provide accurate, compelling, and timely weather coverage across broadcast, digital, and social platforms. This role supports the station’s weather team during vacations, schedule changes, severe weather events, and other staffing needs.

Employment Details

This is a per diem, as-needed position. Scheduling may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency weather coverage. Compensation and scheduling will be determined based on experience, assignment, and station needs.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $40.00-45.00 per hour for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $33.25-37.50 per hour for all other US locations.
