  • Positions parts in jigs or fixtures, or clamps parts together along layout marks
  • Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces
  • Welds along vertical, horizontal weld lines
  • Connects regulator valve to tank. Turns regulator valve to activate flow of gas, and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flow rate.
  • Examines weld for bead size and other specifications
  • Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or splatter
  • Complete tasks while adhering to production schedules
  • Communicate any issues or quality concerns to department Supervisor
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
  • Operates all tools and equipment safely.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to the manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Expertise in MIG welding techniques, focusing on the assembly of components, parts, and structures. A strong ability to interpret technical drawings and adhere to work orders is essential. This role demands precision and a dedication to delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
 

Hourly Range: $22.09 - $23.93 (Based on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
