What you'll do
- Maintains, fabricates, installs, repairs and/or replaces, cleans and tests the facility piping, valves, heat exchangers, and safety relief systems in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications.
- Operate high pressure waterblasting machines.
- Tests, repairs and calibrates facility relief valves.
- Utilizes electric, air and hydraulically driven tools and equipment.
- Utilizes cutting equipment.
- Rigs for lifting equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance.
- Cleans up work area following completion of assigned job task and properly disposes of waste materials.
- Returns tools and equipment to normal storage areas.
- Completes other routine or assigned duties as necessary to meet the maintenance department work schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
