Premiums:

  • $3/hour AZ Premium when directed to operate equipment that require AZ
  • $5/hour Snow plow Premium
  • $1/hr Night Shift Premium

Work Conditions :

  • Local applicants will be given preference due to the location of the work
  • Camp accommodations and meal allowance available in Wawa, Agawa, Batchawana, Chapleau, and Hinkler lake (No travel allowance)
  • As we respond to various weather patterns, shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required 
  • Work schedules will consist of either 5 consecutive days followed by 2 days off or 6 consecutive days followed by 1 day off, with daily shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours (Shop specific)
  • Winter seasonal from Oct 1 to April 30th
  • CLAC union position

Compensation

$25.50 - $33.50 per hour

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.

Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
