About the Role

Europe | Hybrid / Onsite in Switzerland

We are looking for an experienced Workday Security Expert to join our client’s team and provide specialist expertise across Workday Security within a complex international environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Workday professional with strong hands-on security experience who can work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure Workday security is effectively designed, configured and maintained.

The successful candidate will be based in Europe and able to travel to Switzerland for onsite work when required.

The Role

As a Workday Security Expert, you will be responsible for supporting and optimising the security framework across Workday, ensuring users have the appropriate access while maintaining strong governance and compliance.

You will work closely with HR, IT, functional teams and business stakeholders to understand security requirements, resolve issues and support ongoing Workday projects and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist Workday Security expertise across the Workday platform.

• Configure and maintain Workday security roles, domains, business processes and security groups.

• Manage user access, permissions and role assignments.

• Support security-related requirements across Workday implementations and ongoing enhancements.

• Analyse existing security structures and recommend improvements where required.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday security and access-related issues.

• Support security testing and validation across Workday releases and system changes.

• Work closely with functional teams to ensure security requirements are incorporated into Workday solutions.

• Support security governance, controls and best practices.

• Assist with audits and compliance-related security requirements.

• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

• Maintain appropriate documentation around security configurations and processes.

• Stay up to date with Workday security functionality, releases and best practices.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Security.

• In-depth knowledge of Workday security configuration and access management.

• Experience working with security groups, domains, business processes and role-based access.

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex security issues.

• Strong understanding of Workday security best practices and governance.

• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent English communication skills – English is the working language.

• Based in Europe with the ability and willingness to travel to Switzerland for onsite work when required.

Desirable

• French language skills would be advantageous.

• Previous experience working on large-scale or international Workday programmes.

• Workday implementation or post-production support experience.

• Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments.

• Relevant Workday Security certifications or training.
