At Hays Education, we are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Blackpool to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a long-term teaching opportunity starting in September.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school community committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your new role
As the Year 3 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil attainment, adapting teaching strategies where required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Lower KS2.
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be committed to creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
