The Role

As the successful Year 6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in guiding pupils through the final year of primary education.

You will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment, delivering high-quality lessons, and ensuring every child is fully prepared for SATs and the transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching a Year 6 class across the full primary curriculum
• Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire learning
• Supporting pupils in achieving strong outcomes in Reading, Writing and Maths
• Preparing pupils confidently for KS2 SATs assessments
• Tracking progress and implementing effective intervention strategies
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and its continued success

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to hear from motivated and dedicated teachers who are committed to making a genuine difference in children's lives.

To be considered, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Previous Year 6 teaching experience (desirable but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Experience supporting pupils towards SATs success
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive, resilient and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their best
