1:1 TUTOR OPPORTUNITY - SHROPSHIRE

Are you passionate about supporting young people outside of mainstream education?
Spencer Clarke Group is currently looking for compassionate, dedicated, and experienced tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition across Shropshire for young people who may be:

• Out of mainstream education
• Struggling with attendance or school refusal
• Experiencing anxiety or SEMH needs
• Diagnosed with ASD or ADHD
• Living with additional learning needs or EHCP requirements
• Finding traditional school settings challenging

As a 1:1 tutor, you will play an important role in building positive relationships with pupils, adapting learning to their individual needs, and helping them rebuild confidence, engagement and a positive attitude towards education.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum of 1 year tutoring or teaching experience
• Experience teaching or tutoring one or more subjects
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Strong understanding of additional needs and barriers to learning
• Ability to deliver tailored and engaging 1:1 sessions
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or anxiety-related needs is desirable
• Experience supporting GCSE or Functional Skills learners is beneficial
• Availability for flexible daytime sessions
• A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
