The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you’ll manage an assigned portfolio of clients, strengthen trusted relationships, and drive revenue growth through retention, expansion, and strategic account development.


As the primary relationship owner for your clients, you’ll align customer priorities with iON’s cybersecurity services and solutions, identify opportunities for growth, and help position iON as a strategic cybersecurity partner.


This position is open to candidates based in Calgary, Vancouver, or Winnipeg.


What You’ll Do

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing client relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and supporting strong customer outcomes. In this role, you will:

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who brings strong relationship management skills, sales discipline, business acumen, and a consultative approach to helping clients solve complex challenges. Ideally, you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, technology sales, cybersecurity sales, or professional services sales.
  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong account planning, opportunity management, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience conducting discovery conversations and developing solution-based recommendations.
  • An understanding of cybersecurity, cloud, managed services, or professional services environments.
  • Strong presentation, communication, influencing, collaboration, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with CRM and sales forecasting tools.
