In this Account Technology Strategist role for the Life Sciences industry, you serve as the strategic technology leader within the Account Team Unit, partnering closely with account leadership to define and drive the end-to-end AI technology vision across the full Microsoft portfolio. You work with enterprise customers to connect their scientific, clinical, and commercial priorities to differentiated solutions, articulating a clear roadmap that spans data, cloud, security, business applications, and advanced artificial intelligence scenarios, including frontier capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Apply deep understanding of enterprise customer business priorities, life sciences industry trends, and Microsoft AI technology platforms to build digital technology strategies aligned to customer business outcomes.
- Act as the customer's virtual technology officer, providing technical guidance to internal teams, building and maintaining industry and client knowledge, and acting as the voice of the customer.
- Create mid- to long-term digital transformation roadmaps while ensuring execution of the technology strategy, providing analysis of customer needs, and translating customer business objectives into a technology architecture.
- Lead industry and digital transformation acceleration to identify and create demand and deliver customer solutions. Drive new opportunities, lead internal teams to accelerate customer digital transformation, and lead conversations regarding the value of Microsoft solutions over competitors.
- Help customer technical specialists sell Microsoft solutions, mapping technical customer requirements and business scenarios to Microsoft technology platforms.
- Orchestrate internal teams and local partners to secure sufficient technical resources for demand generation, drive account planning to inform quarterly and fiscal objectives, and use readiness resources to support enablement plans for customer technology adoption at national and regional level.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND several years of technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience;
- OR equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Business fluency in both German and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Several years of technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience;
- OR equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in a relevant customer industry, preferably life sciences or healthcare.
- Several years of experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
In line with our Flexible Work approach, for roles at Microsoft Germany, we recommend spending at least two days per week in the office or at the customer site.
Account Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Germany is € 81,500.00 - € 139,200.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
