Accounting Assistant

As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records by entering financial transactions and ensuring accuracy of data.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and collections.
• Prepare and process monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support the budgeting process by collecting data and assisting with financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and advice.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
