What you'll do
- Independently manage all aspects of the accounting department
- Review, distribute, and post incoming invoices
- Prepare payment runs and ensure all payment deadlines are met
- Monitor and oversee accounts payable processes
- Review daily closings and cash reports for the individual outlets
- Maintain good communication and working relationships with other departments
- Participate in financial discussions and quarterly meetings
- Perform account reconciliations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Handle accounts payable and fixed asset accounting
- Process reminders and general accounting/administrative tasks
- Post and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Record accounting entries for corrections and issue outgoing invoices

- A business apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in the hotel or restaurant industry, or training or continuing education in financial accounting
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Experience with Oracle/Oracle Cloud
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs
- Knowledge of the FiBuNet, DocuWare, and Fairmas systems
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality
- Initiative and a sense of responsibility
