What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and practical guidance, ensuring consistent application of accounting principles across the organization.
  • Provide guidance on new or complex transactions, support month-end and year-end closing, and maintain appropriate documentation for accounting judgments and policies.
  • Coordinate with auditors and accounting specialists where required and contribute to a strong and effective financial governance framework.
  • Improve the quality, consistency, and relevance of management reporting by establishing clear standards, templates, definitions, and reporting calendars.
  • Ensure financial reporting provides meaningful & accurate insight into financial performance.
  • Simplify and automate financial reporting processes where possible, including the development of dashboards and performance-monitoring tools.
  • Review financial processes to identify control gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, applying a pragmatic approach suitable for a growth company.
  • Design and document proportionate controls, processes, responsibilities, ownership, and evidence requirements while supporting standardization and automation.
  • Support remediation of audit findings, monitor agreed improvement actions, and promote continuous improvement across the finance organization.
  • Lead or participate in finance transformation and cross-functional projects, translating business requirements into effective finance processes, controls, and reporting solutions.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of ERP, reporting, consolidation, and other financial systems, ensuring appropriate controls are incorporated from the design stage.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, risks, actions, testing, documentation, training, and implementation to ensure project improvements are successfully embedded in day-to-day operations.

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Qualified CPA, CA, RA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience, including several years in a Big Four audit firm with at least 1 year at Manager level
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and international environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a finance role within a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience in a deeptech environment (e.g. semiconductors, photonics, quantum technologies, advanced materials, robotics, AI infrastructure, or other R&D-intensive businesses) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Capex heavy companies & manufacturing companies (COGS)
  • Experience with ERP systems and leading or participating in ERP implementation and finance transformation projects is a plus.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools is an advantage.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Governance & Reporting Manager to strengthen the finance function through improved internal controls, clear accounting guidelines, high-quality management reporting, and effective delivery of finance-related projects.

The role combines financial governance, process improvement, reporting, and project management. It works closely with Finance, Operations, Management, Internal and External Audit, and other stakeholders to ensure financial processes are reliable, efficient, well-controlled, and support sound business decision-making in manner that suits the status of the Company, a growth company.

The candidate has a background in a Big Four audit firm, providing a strong foundation in IFRS.

What you’ll be doing

  • Accounting Guidelines & Financial Governance
