The Adjunct Professor of English Writing Skills at Barry Law will work part time (approximately 10 hours a week) to support students with improving their English writing skills. This adjunct professor specializes in English writing skills, work withing with students solely on their writing skills, like grammar, proofreading, etc.

Holding office hours and scheduling appointments, approximately 10 hours each week, during the morning, afternoon, and evening to accommodate student schedules.  Some weeks may require more or slightly less time, depending upon student needs.

Meeting with students one-to-one to help students develop strategies for identifying errors in their writing, learn proper grammar and sentence structure, and develop new writing techniques and strategies for different writing situations.

Leading grammar workshops each semester. Grammar workshops should be video recorded, and attendance must be taken and provided to professors.

Coordinating workshop time and location with student course schedules and room availability. 

Scheduling room reservations for any meetings or workshops that take place outside of the office location and video recording of meetings or workshops, as needed.
