What you'll do

  • Review and Perform Reconciliation across Custom Fixed Income & Custom Equity SMAs, including corporate bonds, municipals, treasuries, Equities, and structured products.
  • Perform Client level reconciliation for Cash & Positions between Invesco Portfolio account systems and relevant various Custodian accounts.
  • Collaborate with Traders, Portfolio Managers, Custodians & Vendors to resolve trade discrepancies.
  • Proactively contribute ideas and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report the cash and position discrepancies in a timely manner to the trading desk.
  • Research/Resolve of various corporate actions discrepancies like Partial, Conditional & Full Call, Pre-Refunding, Matured, etc.
  • Cost basis recon knowledge on Equity product.
  • Identify & resolve individual account discrepancies accurately and efficiently, to ensure systems are ready for trading.
  • Working rigorously on Equity and Fixed Income cash breaks on a daily basis and resolve them to maximum extent.
  • Reviewing and identifying items in the Middle Office Reconciliation Global mailbox
  • Create Procedures & Ensure they are up to date on a monthly basis.
  • Proactively identify potential operational risks, suggest mitigation strategy to manager and lead the implementation of the agreed upon mitigation strategy

Job Description

  • Review and Ensure all the e-mails in the Global mailbox are routed properly and all the items are handled correctly and accurately. 
  • Responsible for helping/Guiding the team members to prioritize the work and to do the Job on their own.
  • Ensure timely completion of critical end-of-day reports (e.g., trade allocations, files saving, email handling).
  • Foster a communicative and collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrate visibility, being vocal & accountability in process management and team building.
  • Must be willing to work full-time night shifts to support global operations - USA.
  • Flexibility to provide support during overtime and off-hours as business needs arise.
  • Participation in Business Continuity and Recovery testing, as required and scheduled by the Manager.
  • Communicate with Traders, Client Service teams, Brokers, and Custodians to investigate and resolve reconciliation related queries through Calling them proactively.
