Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) / Utility 2.1 Roster

Sirrom is seeking an experienced **Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) / Utility** to join our remote village operations team. This is a hands-on role that combines aerodrome operations with village utility duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is comfortable working in a remote FIFO environment. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and compliant operation of the aerodrome while supporting the day-to-day presentation and functionality of the village. **About the Role** As the ARO / Utility, you will be responsible for maintaining aerodrome serviceability, supporting aircraft movements and ensuring compliance with operational requirements. In addition, you will assist with the upkeep and presentation of the village, grounds and recreational facilities. No two days are the same, and you'll be someone who enjoys getting stuck in and helping wherever needed. **What You'll Be Doing** - Conduct aerodrome inspections and complete serviceability reporting - Maintain aerodrome records, documentation and refuelling facilities - Communicate with pilots and operations teams regarding aircraft movements - Carry out marshalling duties where appropriately trained - Transport staff, residents and visitors as required - Complete rubbish, recycling and tip run activities - Maintain village grounds, recreational areas and communal facilities - Operate ride on mowers, hand tools and grounds maintenance equipment - Assist with truck deliveries and forklift operations where licensed - Clean and maintain company vehicles, sheds and work areas - Monitor and maintain the village pool and outdoor areas **What We're Looking For** - Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) Certification (Essential) - Previous aviation, airport or aerodrome operations experience preferred - Current Australian Open Driver's Licence and ability to operate airside vehicles - Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills - Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office - Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities - Forklift Licence highly regarded - Previous FIFO or remote site experience required (minimum of 1 year) **Why Join Us?** - Full time permanent position - FIFO from Perth - Competitive salary package - Consistent 2.1 roster and stable employment - Work across both aviation and village operations - Supportive team environment - Immediate start available **About Sirrom** Sirrom provides accommodation, hospitality and support services to clients across remote and regional Australia.
