What you'll do

  • Engage prospects directly. Do the ride-alongs, learn their day-in-the-life, and represent it back to them inside Resolve, so they see we heard them, not just that we sold to them.
  • Voice the delta. Where a prospect's requirement goes beyond what Resolve does today, capture it clearly and bring it to Product to weigh against the opportunity.
  • Own delivery end to end. Take a closed deal from demo to production: access, configuration, and a live customer getting real value, with no gap between what was promised and what's delivered.
  • Scope the true exceptions. Get the customer 90–95% of the way live yourself. Package only the genuine edge cases as a clear, well articulated delta for AI engineering, specific enough that they don't have to guess what you mean.
  • Hand off cleanly. Get the customer live and set up for success, then step back and let the account/adoption team take the relationship forward, and move on to the next challenge.

What they're looking for

  • Domain expertise that fits Resolve's world: field service, owned asset maintenance (utilities, offshore, manufacturing floor), or facility management.
  • Real technical fluency, short of engineering.
  • Comfort in the sales motion.
  • A finisher's mindset.
  • A genuine curiosity about how our customers work.

Company Description

About Nexus Black

IFS Nexus Black builds AI to solve hard problems for the industries that keep the world turning: up on power lines, down on factory floors, and out in the field. We pair 40 years of IFS industry experience with the technical pace of a start-up, and we get results in weeks, not months.

When one mistake can shut down a production line or trigger legal action, security is not a checkbox. It is part of how we earn the right to run AI in aircraft hangars and engine rooms.

Job Description

About Resolve

Resolve is our high-volume implementation product. Where some of our AI products are about getting one hard, high-value thing exactly right, Resolve is about putting an AI-driven workforce to work across an entire operation, doing tasks that are individually modest in value but done at extraordinary scale. That combination of scale and reliability is what our customers are buying, and it's what this role is built around.

The role

This isn't the generalist Product Specialist role. It's built specifically for Resolve, and whilst it absolutely requires strong product thinking and the ability to represent a customer's requirements in the product, it also encompasses a lot more: more sales, more hands-on delivery, and full accountability for the gap between what a customer is shown and what they actually get.

You'll work directly alongside sales, not just supporting the pitch, but engaging prospects yourself, understanding their day-in-the-life, and building that day into a working Resolve experience they can see themselves in. You'll voice the gaps between what a customer needs and what Resolve does today, so Product can make the call on what's worth building. And once a deal closes, you're the one who takes it live: configuration, access, production setup, all the way to a successful go-live. What you demonstrated is what you deliver; anything genuinely beyond Resolve's reach gets handed to AI engineering as a scoped delta, not dumped on them wholesale.

Once a customer is live and succeeding, your job there is done. Ongoing account ownership sits with another team, and you hand off cleanly and move on to the next challenge.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Domain expertise that fits Resolve's world: field service, owned asset maintenance (utilities, offshore, manufacturing floor), or facility management. You know the difference between servicing someone else's assets and maintaining your own, and you can speak fluently to whichever side you've lived in.
  • Real technical fluency, short of engineering. You understand what an ERP integration actually needs: the data fields, what a request means from a storage and usage standpoint, and where functionality gaps show up in the tools customers already use. You don't need to write the code, but you can brief an AI engineer (or the config agent) precisely enough that they know exactly what you mean the first time.
  • Comfort in the sales motion. You can hold your own with a prospect, not just a signed customer, building trust on-site, in the plant or the field, without a jargon-heavy deck.
  • A finisher's mindset. You can own a delivery intensely for the weeks it takes to get a customer live, then hand it off without lingering and move to the next deal.
  • A genuine curiosity about how our customers work. You're willing to go to them, step into their world, and see the job get done on their floor, in their plant, or out in the field, not just hear about it secondhand.

Additional Information

Why This Role Matters

Nexus Black is building AI for the industries that keep the world running: power grids, factory floors, aircraft hangars, the field. This role makes sure that story reaches the right people, at the right time, and through systems that will scale into the next phase of growth and beyond.

You won't just operate our marketing infrastructure. You'll design it. The way campaigns get built, the way leads get routed, the way results get measured - you'll have a hand in all of it. And because we're building with AI at every layer, the ceiling on what one person can do here is genuinely different.
