  • Conduct ongoing transactional monitoring and detailed investigations on existing customer accounts to combat potential AML (Anti-money Laundering) and financial crime risks via a range of checks & controls,
  • Be a subject matter expert and escalation point for internal concerns or suspicions relating to AML and fraud-related matters,
  • Support with the testing, mapping and enhancement of financial crime controls in line with internal requirements,
  • Summarize emerging trends and risk-areas to report to senior management along with regular metrics for internal stakeholders,
  • External reporting of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the National Crime Agency (NCA) and other enforcement bodies where required.

As a Financial Crime Investigator in our Financial Crime team, you will have a key focus on keeping our customers and our firm safe

Job Summary 

Working closely with our Operations, Controls, Payments and Compliance teams, you will perform, monitor, review and enhance the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Fraud processes and controls in place to manage financial crime risk within J.P. Morgan Personal Investing, ensuring the correct outcome is reached to protect both customers and the firm.
