About this role
As an Application Builder on the Blink Subs + ai development team, you'll directly contribute to the Blink mobile application and backend to grow the subscription business through subscription + ai features. As part of a cross-functional agile team you will:
- Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop and maintain features
- Work to continuously improve code quality, code maintainability and app performance

Blink is looking for a full stack Engineer to join our Subs + ai team.
You will:
- Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop maintainable features
- Work to continuously improve code quality, code maintainability and app performance
- Work along-side other app developers and help raise the mobile app development bar
- Build features with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, Amazon Q Developer or similar): specify the work, delegate it to the agent, then review, test and ship the result.
- Raise the team's AI-assisted development practice: share the prompts, rules and validation patterns that other builders adopt.
A day in the life
As an Application Builder at Blink, you will:
- Have an opportunity to support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices.
- Tackle novel challenges that come with operating a large-scale production application serving millions of daily users
- Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways.
- Regularly work with internal dependencies and partner teams to support new initiatives.
- Experiment with and operationalize AI-powered development workflows, identifying where AI can eliminate toil, catch defects earlier, and accelerate delivery

- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with AWS services, REST APIs, CI/CD, automated unit testing, and integration testing

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with AWS services, REST APIs, CI/CD, automated unit testing, and integration testing

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
