  • Leverage knowledge of energy production and operations including the chemical make-up of natural gas, heat content, nitrogen, oxygen and carbon and determine how the chemical make-up affects natural gas transportation in the pipeline to optimize processes and logistics.
  • Monitor the necessary volumes and surpluses in the region and perform market analysis to identify fluctuations of costs of natural gas.
  • Facilitate optimization of existing and new assets in the portfolio by providing expertise in pipeline optimization engineering.
  • Work closely with the rest of the bench origination, market analytics and other teams to build-out, and execute on, the Mexico Team and South Texas gas asset strategy.
  • Facilitate cross-border communication and relationship management with stakeholders in the South Texas and Mexico Regions.

  • Experience utilizing Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) tools to manage positions, transactions, logistics, and risk exposure
  • Experience utilizing the ICE Exchange platform for executing trades and monitoring market activity
  • Familiarity with financial and physical natural gas products, including the ability to buy, sell, hedge, and manage trading positions
  • Experience applying historical context of business environment for Mexico based counterparties to grow and maintain customer footprint in Mexico
