Job Description

The Assistant Controller will be a key member of the finance team, partnering closely with the Regional Controller to drive accurate, timely, and high-quality accounting and financial reporting across the business unit. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to expand their expertise, gain broad exposure to the business, and build a strong foundation for future financial leadership.

In this role, you’ll have a direct impact on the integrity of the company’s financial reporting—supporting critical close and reporting activities, strengthening accounting controls, and ensuring financial information is accurate, reliable, and compliant. You’ll also have the opportunity to identify improvements, solve problems, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the finance function.

What You’ll Do

Financial Close & Reporting

  • Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger transactions.
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor accounting transactions and investigate discrepancies or unusual variances.

Account Reconciliations & Accounting Operations

  • Work closely with the BPO partner in the preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management activities.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including GAAP/IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the preparation of statutory, tax, and regulatory reports.
  • Coordinate information requests from external auditors.
  • Help maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.

Process Improvement & Special Projects

  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, reporting, and financial controls.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with financial analysis and ad hoc projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software, such as SAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A professional accounting qualification or progress toward one (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA) is an advantage.

Additional Information

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000-$110,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.

In addition to base salary, full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's (US) Health and Welfare Benefit Plans—including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance—as well as the company’s 401(k) plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective plan documents. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group’s paid time off and sick leave programs in accordance with applicable policies.
