What you'll do

  • To support the Room Division Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Front Office, ensuring a high standard of guest service, efficient team performance and smooth hotel operations.
  • Assist in managing the daily Front Office operation, including reception and guest services.
  • Supervise, support and motivate the Front Office team to deliver excellent guest service.
  • Ensure all hotel and Front Office standards, procedures and brand requirements are followed.
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Support staff training, onboarding and performance management.
  • Monitor room allocations, arrivals, departures and VIP/guest requirements.
  • Assist with cash handling, daily reports and other Front Office administration.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Act as a manager on duty when required and make operational decisions in the absence of the Room Division Manager
  • Promote a positive team culture and ensure the hotel consistently delivers a welcoming guest experience.

Company Description

The Novotel London Bridge is a 4-star hotel located close to the South Bank (SE1 9HH) with Tate Modern, The Shard and St Paul's Cathedral just around the corner. There are 182 chic bedrooms, Gourmet Bar and Restaurant as well as fitness centre. 

Please note that this role will require you to work morning or/and evening shifts and weekends with occasional night shift cover. This role is a maternity cover. 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Description
