Assistant Professor, Accounting

The College of Business and Economics at Anderson University cordially invites applications for a professional-track, ten-month instructional position in Accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor. The preferred start date for the position is Spring 2027. A Master’s degree or higher in Accounting, or a Master’s degree in a related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Accounting, is required. Preference will be given to those who have a CPA with a record of successful teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. In addition, work experience within the field is also preferred, though not required. Exceptionally well-qualified candidates with teaching and industry related experience will be considered for appointment at an advanced rank (associate or full professor).

We are seeking a faculty member who can support the successful growth of the Accounting program within the College of Business and Economics. Classes primarily focus on Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting. While most classes taught will be in-seat to undergraduate students, faculty could have a potential teaching schedule that includes undergraduate and graduate classes offered at the Anderson main campus, the Greenville campus, and/or online.
