- Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and applications for payment
- Measuring works and preparing take-offs from drawings
- Supporting subcontractor procurement, including enquiries, comparisons, and orders
- Assisting with subcontractor valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Liaising with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost reporting
- Supporting the Senior QS with monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs)

About the Company
Our client is a well-established construction contractor based in Peterborough, delivering high-quality projects across the region. As they continue to grow, they're looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Role
Working closely with the Senior QS and wider commercial team, you'll support the financial and contractual management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive, hands-on environment.
