What you'll do

  • Support the scoping and delivery of resilience consulting tasks including crisis management planning and training, risk management, and business continuity.
  • Conduct threat and risk assessments to find potential areas of vulnerability and recommend risk mitigation countermeasures to clients.
  • Conduct and assess training and exercises for executive management teams to test and validate an organisation’s crisis management and business continuity capability.
  • Develop emergency/incident response plans against security risks, such as, natural disaster, civil unrest, insurgency, workplace violence, armed robbery, arson and terrorism
  • Utilise specialist resources from around the APAC region and the Group to profitably deliver high quality outcomes for clients
  • Conduct security reviews and audits to evaluate the existing security systems of varied industries
  • Prepare and submit verbal and written reports to a high standard for the use of internal or external stakeholders.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with staff, contractors, joint venture partners, government representatives, particularly police and military, regulatory bodies and industry groups.
  • Work as part of small teams including as part of client teams or with external contractors/consultants.
  • Support event security projects

Job Purpose

To provide risk consulting services to Control Risks’ clients, with a particular focus on crisis management, business continuity, enterprise risk management and resilience, training, with a secondary focus on client security management and security consultancy.

The role requires you to support an experienced team in delivering client engagements. You may also be required to support the team’s response to crisis issues and develop preventative risk management programs.

Working as part of a team or independently you will provide effective, best practice risk management solutions to our clients. This is an exciting ‘hands on’ consulting role that requires travel across the Japan region and is client facing. The role suits a highly motivated and positive individual, comfortable with fluid operating environments, who has the self-drive to produce excellent results, sometimes in isolation.
